Gracillis muscle transfer

Has anyone had this done or know anything about it I got some info off the mayo clinic website but not much. I wanted to hear from someone that actually had it done

I saw a ortho doctor two weeks ago and he talked about doing this procedure on me. I looked it up on the web and I'm not sure I want to go through with it because at the end of it all I would have scars everywhere and the gain from the surgery might not be sufficient enough to overlook the scars.
