I'm so bummed: I don't think I can come to camp

Post by kissygoose »

My husband's band is in the midst of recording their next album. We've been talking and preparing for this for 2 months now and about how they are going to hold off and not release it till probably around Labor Day. The whole time we were talking it didn't sink in as to what this meant. The release will be a great big deal as it's going to also be released with a DVD and some other stuff and will most likely culminate in a big blowout Labor Day Bash. An event that I'm expected to attend and which my DH wants me there as well (especially since I might be singing backups on this one). If that's the plan then I can't make it to camp. There is no way I can do both as they will be a continent apart. I'm really bummed. I'm trying to get DH to find out from the leader what exactly his plans are so I can know what to do. Figures doesn't it?

I'm sorry it sounds you won't be able to come to camp. The album sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Remember camp is every two years so there are always the following camps. We will sure miss you there that's for sure.
You never know, it may just work out for you.

Sorry to hear that you can't make it to camp, I was hoping you'd be able to go since I can't either. It's a great experience. But we'll get together and hang out and be bummed together. I don't think I ever asked...Have you met anyone with BPI before?

We'll have to both make an extra effort to go to the next camp. Maybe we can travel together then.

Traci, I've met one person. He was my son's pt. He doesn't beleive in the pain and stuff associated with it because he's never had it. He wasn't real nice about things either. \

Yeah we'll have to get together when the weather gets better.

My DH feels real bummed about me not being able to go but said that we would make it a priority to go to the next time and since he'll have more time off that he'll come with me.
