1st Neuro visit!!!! WONDERFUL news!

YAYYYY!!!!! Sarah will NOT need surgery or go to any more neuro visits! Just therapy...and lots of it! She said that her progress is wonderful!!! We are so excited!!! She said that her right arm will be weaker than the left..but she with therapy she will have normal function! I called her therapist with the news and she was so exited...she said " we are gonna work as a team to whip her into shape!"

What wonderful news! Did she suggest any e-stim to help with the weakness issue? What residual effects did she warn about for the years down the road? You might ask her for things to watch for to make sure she continues to progress. Is there a plan once she "plateaus"? Even when we get good news, we still have to monitor the injury. I'm happy she doesn't need primary surgery. What a relief!
