Hello there and yes I had a hard time keeping it at 120 degrees. It seemed to hurt when I would get it into the position and then I remember waking in the night to my arm falling asleep and tingling a bit. I slept in a recliner though for the entire time I had my pillow on. I would prop up blankets and pillows underneath to make it more comfortable. My husband goes to work around 5 a.m. and I also remmeber saying take this off so I can have an hour of good sleep. I would suggest doing it as long as he can stand it for. It is frustrating yet it also does help in the long run.
Hang in there.

I don't know how anyone does it I would never sleep. Frankie's splint is at 120 now so Dr Nath said to move it to 130. It goes to 160. Luckily he is done with that stupid pillow splint. He got one from an orthotist. It is lighter and each part of it moves independently and has dials with the degrees on it so you know right where your at, but its still hell to sleep in. Frankie lays down with one pillow and puts a small pillow under the splint for support. He used to have to sleep sitting up with the pillow if he laid down he couldn't get back up. Frankie asked his OT if he could just sleep one night without it he's been in it 12 weeks but she said no. He has 6 more weeks to go. Of course he does get up at 5am to take it off then goes back to sleep till 7am. God Bless all of you that have to sleep in these contraptions. Mare
