Kath, I think C4 was damaged and there was something in the report of being fully avulsed. I went to Mayo in '88
and saw Dr. Wood. He spoke of nerve tranplant surgery which at the time was a new thing. I didn't want huge scars up my chest and decided to hold off to see if I would regain the lost mobility and eventually had it done last Thanksgiving by the team of Drs. Bishop, Shin, & Spinner. My progress is slow but I realize it takes time for the nerve to regenerate and do exercises morning & night. I'm not familiar with the school you mentioned as I recently moved her from Arlington Heights. I'm not always online as I AM still a newlywed and this computer takes 4-5 reboots before it works properly.
