- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Thank you ALL...
My husband had beautiful flowers on the table when I got up in the morning.
I had a great day I went out to lunch with my grandchildren, my daughter and SIL.
Then over to my daughter's where all 12 of us had dinner and she made a birthday cake...
Of course, the icing was chocolate!
The 3 younger girls helped me blow out the candles.
Our new addition tiny 9 week old Lola (miniature Schnauzer) sat on my lap and slept through all the confusion.
My friends and family called, my friends from UBPN left me all these posts.
I picked up my granddaughter from basketball practice and all her friends came over kissed me and wished me Happy Birthday...
Who could ask for anything more?
I know it's just a number and I am fine with it!
I am just so amazed how fast the time has flown by!
Does life get much better??? LOL...
