Well to all of you surgery went well and he will be released tomorrow to go home he can't wait to get there to see his own dog JD who he really misses... We come back in 10 days for his cast and a check up than from there so all went well today better than expected... Judy

So glad to hear all went so well. We really like the team at Mayo. Best to both of you. Hope recovery goes smooth and quickly.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: 28 years old with a right obstetrical brachial plexus injury. 5 surgeries to date with pretty decent results. Last surgery resolved years of pain in my right arm however, I am beginning my journey with overuse in my left arm

Judy, thats great, I am glad that the surgery went well! Hope that cast does not get him down. But with as fast as these days are going his cast will bee off in no time at all.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: MVA in 2001, nerve graph in 2002, Median Nerve Transfer in 2004 and an unsuccessful Gracillis Muscle Transfer in 2006. I am living life and loving it! Feel free to contact me :)
