UBPN camp on my little guy's mind

Post by Tanner's Mom »

Just had to share....

The other day I was driving my 5 1/2 year old son home from school and he just randomly blurted out, “I’ve been waiting sooo sooo long for my next birth injury camp.”

He had such a great time at the last one in Washington D.C. that he is anxiously anticipating the next one. I just thought it was too cute and it totally caught me off guard. Of course the darn injury isn’t cute to me in any way, but I love how much he enjoys the camp and how much fun he has with the children who have shared a similar experience. I just think it is pretty special.

Hey Lisa! Thanks for sharing.
We've never been to a camp and
Brittney brought it up the other day too! Out of the blue - said that she hoped we could go this year. There is surely a bond of understanding that goes on. Not only the kids but parents too.I know that Brittney would love to meet Tanner and see you again. By the way - I can't believe that Tanner is 5-1/2 already!
