I posted the other day asking if anyone has ever had surgery for this but have not heard from anyone. I am nervous because I cant find info on what to wxpect during initial recovery time say first 2 weeks. As I said my Dr. says that i should be able to return to work teaching first grade in less than two weeks. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated. Have a good day. Susan

I replied to your post. I had surgery to relieve symptoms that were TOS like. My doc made an incision in the area of my collar bone and removed scar tissue from muscle and my brachial plexus. I had surgery on a wedsday and returned to school that monday. If your surgery is more involved then you may have a longer recovery.I was very sore and uncomfortable but it wasn't overwhemingly painul.
