Good morning everyone. I was looking at my birth medical records and I see where the Dr. noted shoulder dystocia and he also wrote "responded with McRoberts". Anyone know what that is?
Thanks,
Dena
What IS this?
Re: What IS this?
McRoberts is a maneuver where they hyperextend your legs (push your legs hard into your chest)...
responded to McRoberts would probably mean that they were able to birth the baby right after mcRoberts maneuver was used.
There may be more information on McRoberts on www.shoulderdystocia.com.
