We are back online

Post by njbirk »

We are back online

UBPN is, after a downtime of little more than five weeks, back online.

To tell you what happened in as short an explanation as possible, we had both the primary and backup hard drives fail at the same time. An unlucky occurrence. Both of the drives had to be replaced in order to bring the server back online and recovering data from the failed drives was painstakingly slow. We have tested the new drives and software and believe we are ready now.

We apologize to those who relied upon our message boards on a daily basis. We are glad to be back.

A hearty thank you is extended to Ryan McClune, who has spent countless hours doing the tedious work of getting us functioning again.

Hi,
I just wanted to say, "I am so happy that you are back!!!"
This board has been A GREAT source of info. Plus to know that we are not the only ones facing the challenges this injury has in store for us. It's nice to get answers to questions from such complexed injury.
Thank you for all your efforts to successfully get back on line.
Sincerely,
Roxane
