now Im really confused

My MRI showed no compression on nerves,tears,stretching,etc.But............the EMG showed ALL the nerves are abnormal.How can I have all nerves abnormal and nothing showing up on the MRI?Get this........I also have a partial rotator cuff tear,fluid in the bicep area and the Orth doctor says he can get my arm working by scoping the shoulder.Im just so confused.If anyone has any input,please respond.

I would say u definetly need a second opinion, or u can ask the doctor the same question for which u r confused.

Hi, Sam. Unfortunately, none of the tests are 100% conclusive - as you are learning. We're still at the point where the best way to know the extent of injury is through surgery itself. This is one reason why doctors tend to wait ~3 months before scheduling surgery, just to give the body a chance to heal itself before going in.
