New Surgery???

I have a 10 year old son who was injured at birth and has been dealing with all the difficulties of Erb's Palsy all of his life. I recently saw an article in my local paper discussing a new surgery for older children to repair nerve damage. I have been looking online for more information, but have not found much. I am hoping someone hear might also have heard about this. I do know that Mayo Clinic was mentioned, but no doctor's name. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. I hate to think of putting my son, Nicolas, through any more pain, but I know that he would be thankful. I am new to this board. I hope to find information, but more than that I hope to find some friends who can understand what we are living with. Thanks so much in advance!!
