Post caps update--video & GOOD NEWS!

Lisa D called today and said that Dr. Nath was so pleased with Katie's latest video! We'll see them in June and unless something happens we don't send in another video until the fall!!! I was so resigned when she called and was astonished when she said it was good news. She said he was so pleased and happy that he took Katie's video to keep and that while she has some weak spots to watch for he wanted to give her more time to see what more she could get. We are soooooooo excited!!!

Yeah Katie!!!!! You are one tough, awesome chicka!

Yes! He said everything is off for at least six months unless they see something at the picnic! Isn't it great? He said she was still weak with triceps and wrist / finger extension but he wanted to see if she could recover any of that through therapy this summer and build up those triceps. We have been working real hard on the biceps--lots of massages and streching and have been able to get the arm straightened out pretty good. He says that if the triceps get some more strength that will take care of the biceps.

We are tickled to death as you can imagine. She still wears the splint sometimes as her arm seems to get tired but he said that was ok for a few more weeks as well.

I was in shock when she called and said it was good news. Hope it goes the same for Maia and Nicole as well--you have videos coming up in a couple of weeks don't you? Keep me posted.

christy I am so excited for you guys!! I'm as excited for you as I am nauseated for ourselves. You know...that send in the video and stay nauseated until you get the phone call??? I almost don't want to send it in...just want her to see Dr. Nath. Maybe that NY picnic is really soon.
