what is done during a pec release, why is it done and is it done in conjuction with anything else?

Hello..hope this helps, not sure if I will be able to explain this correctly! My daughter had a pec release in conjuction with botox injections. What the dr. did was my a small incision in the crease of her armpit. He then went and made a small incision in the pec muscle in order to release the muscle so her shoulder wouldn't be rotated forward so much. He also did some botox injections in her strong pec muscles so the weak ones would have to work harder. Just email me if you have anymore questions!!
