Boston Dr Waters Jan 23rd

Post by admin »

Anyone else going to be there? Ella will be going in for an examination. I am anxious to see what he has to say since we haven't been there since her one year post operative MRI. It's been almost 2 years since her surgery. How time flies! Feels like it was yesterday.

Hey Krista,

Sorry to miss you. Allison is going for her MRI on Monday, Jan. 9th and we will be meeting with Dr. Waters on January 30th.

Hope all goes well with Ella and look forward to hearing how well she made out.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
Location: New York

Jamie and I will be seeing Dr. Bae on March 7th at Childrens. If anyone else will be there drop me a line and hopefully we'll be able to meet up and talk.

Krista, Would you mind telling me what surgery Ella had almost 2 yrs ago, and if you have seen the improvement that you hoped for, and if you feel that she may need another surgery. Thanks for sharing if you choose to do so. A Grandma

Dear 'a grandma' ,
I don't mind sharing that information. I prefer to know who I am answering to though after what has gone on here the past few days with guest posters. If you do not want to share who you are and why you would like to her my information to that question you can always email me privately and I would be happy to share my experience with you about the surgery.
