I am new with knowing the brachial plexus injury my son David age 11 has developed this injury in a car accident on October 28th, 2005 and we are just at the beginning of his new beginning. Thanks Gene for telling me about this site and thank you for taling with me on December 22nd, 2005 about our kids in need and thanks John Floyd for talking with me. David is looking forward to talking with you tomorrow he has some questions. Thanks again Judy

Hi, Judy - and welcome to the boards. As Gene told you, there is a wealth of information on here. You can post questions here but also feel free to give us another call if you want to talk more about Mayo or anything else. Send me your address if you want us to send a DVD copy of John's surgery. It is hard to just watch David with one arm and not be able to do some of the things he used to do but he is adjusting very well he is learning to do those things with one arm he is playing his play station and doing well with one hand I am just amazed how he can do it but he is learning every day something new.
