Hey Francine! Sorry it took so long to get back to you and the board. I started my job on Monday and we have been very busy. I have great news! Dr. Nath said he would do the surgery at NO CHARGE! But using the hospital facilities is another story. Brenda, Dr. Nath's surgery scheduler, and Jason smoothed things over and she faxed some papers over for financial assistance from a Methodist church so hopefully they will help us. Surgery is scheduled for April 19. So we are still hoping and praying that everything goes as planned. As far as the fundraiser goes, we decided to postpone it but still intend to do it just for the sake to get the knowledge of this injury out there.
Now I was wondering if you knew about free or discounted flights for medical purposes. I know someone posted on the board awhile ago about it.

As far as the job goes, it is going great. It is a sales position calling businesses in need of enviromentally safe products. I made my first sale the first day I was on the phone. The people there are really fun and are so nice. I hope my sales increase b/c the comission is where I'll make the money and boy do we need it! Other than that, things are going good!
