An alternative to Kinesiotaping, for those who cannot have tape on their skin, is Theratogs. www.theratogs.com
You put on a very thin garment and instead of tape, they use straps that just attach to the thin garment.

I am TBPI and kinesio tape has helped me with stabalizing my shoulder and pain in my hand...
