Social Security

Post by thomasfn »

Before my car accident I was attending college, unemployed an uninsured. I have recently been denied social security benefits because they feel that my BP injury is not severe enough. I have also been denied medicaid from the state (Wisconsin). I am now appealing both claims. Has anybody filed a SSA claim and have been denied? Pardon my language, but this is bullshit! I am not getting the full medical care I need, specifically physical therapy. I am not taking any medication for my pain because I cannot afford the cost. I am very limited with what I can do for work, but what employer will hire me when I am in the the early stages of recovery from my right BP injury. Has anybody have/had this problem? Thanks

I was denied for SSD and had to appeal and actually go to court! I won my case because of a letter from my surgeon stating that I will be having one or two more ops and that with recovery and ops I can NOT work for at least 5 years! YOu have to fight fight fight!! I do not understand how you were denied medicaide from the state, I did get that too! Email me if you want, maybe i can shed some light! I am only 25....
