The thing I don't understand is that if a moderator has to approve every guest post, then why is the moderator approving all the bump posts?

We have been receiving questions about missing posts and wanted the community to see for themselves what is happening for now.
The guest bump posts will be removed after a short period of time. For now, we agreed it would be best and less time consuming to allow them.

I'm sorry, but I have to say it is VERY annoying. I don't normally get involved in this, but I was really angry when I saw this happening all over again. I don't have time to waste going through posts that have nothing new, (when they could possibly have some new info).
Sorry to come off so strong, but really!

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Once someone replies to a post it is moved up by the software.
The guest bumper knows this and apparently does not care that support information needed by others is moved to the bottom of the page.

There are times when someone will move a post to the top for information to a new poster.
They usually state the reason when moving the post up that is much different than the bumps we have had here recently.
As the moderators stated they approved the bump so the community could be aware of this situation.

mom999, Who are you? Are you new here? I see that your ID was just created and saw that at least 2 of your 3 posts (didn't see the 3rd one) are to complain about UBPN. Did you create this ID just to complain about the board of directors and moderators and bypass the guest post approval? This is not the typical way a new person introduces him/herself to the board. Are your the same person who created all the other recent IDs? Are you trying to make UBPN get more strict on the new ID approval process? Do you have some value to add or need some support here?

It woudl be moved up and marked as new even if it weren't approved because someone has "replied" to it, even as a guest that hasen't been approved yet.

How do you think the moderators feel about it? It's a waste of their time and energy as well, and that is exactly why some chose to do things like this when they are irritated with what they deam unfair.

If said poster(s) were to log in they would be notified via email why the post was removed. One bettter, if they would post respectfully, the post would stay up.

I have a better idea. Lets just not respond to things like this and concentrate on better things. "Ignore it and it will go away" is my motto with SOME things. Eventually (if this is being done to annoy) the person will get bored and give up.
