Re: Health Insurance
<t>Dear Ivy,<br/> <br/> I asked for a Case Manager from BCBS and dealt only with her and then, of course, w/ Dr. Nath's office. We had to prove that the TT Surgery was necessary and that it could not be done within a 100 mile area of where we lived. We provided those doctor's letters to BCBS and the...

Re: News
<t>THANKS SO MUCH for posting this link ! After reading the article about Matt, I went to youtube and watched another video where he starts out w/ strumming a guitar. All my son wanted for Christmas was a guitar, and I know he will LOVE seeing this video of someone else who has an arm like his, but ...

Re: Therapy Questions
<t>That's great information Claudia. I would like to add that when my son was little we were using free OT services through our local Education Service District. And, the best part about that was that they came to my home or office to do the therapy. ( I brought Zack to work w/ me until he was a yea...

Re: Behind?
<r>Oh, please don't feel that you are "behind". You are more on top of it than most parents. If your child has been doing range of motion therapy since week one, that's way sooner than most. We started with my son at week 5. Your child's movement sounds just like Zack's at that age. I had been in co...

Re: Redoing triangle tilt
<t>Dear Raina,<br/> <br/> I saw your post on a thread that I also replied to, and it reminded me of what a terrific help you were for our family when we found out my son, Zack needed the TT. You took the time to provide me w/ detailed information and I want to say Thank You once again. It's been a b...

Re: Triangle Tilt
<r>Hi there,<br/> <br/> Well, my son didn't need surgery until the TT when he was 4 -- which was exactly 1 year ago. I would say I was very nervous after we came out of the splint... at first our main concern was that he could not raise his arm very much at all. We LOVED seeing the supenation that h...

Re: Walking???
<r>WOW! Is this message board a great resource, or what?!!! I am SO impressed with all of you moms who replied to this post. You all give the best advice. Say it like it is ! I love it. I could not agree more... I think that Kayla hasn't found the right "fit" for a OT yet. The right one should make ...

Shirts for a 4 yr old boy having TT
I have a stack of shirts that have been cut from when my son had the Triangle Tilt surgery w/ Dr. Nath last Sept. I would love to pass them along to another little guy who is having the same surgery. Anybody interested?
