Re: Medicine question
Thank you all for the experiences and suggestions. I am very 'stubborn' adding certain pharmaceuticals to my pain mngmt program. I firmly believe as perhaps implied in one response, that many of these compounds are simply money making human experimentation factories. I have tried so many combos and ...

Medicine question
hello. I am new to the general board and certainly appreciate, relate and understand all here have a wide range of quality of life. A bit frustrated at the moment to get into details, my question is has medication such as wellbutrin helped anyone's nerve issues and/or did it just cause unwanted side...

Re: TENS unit???
Heykisseegoose. My understanding is there is a debate about tense units but i believe only for certain conditions. Obviously we are both talking here so know debates raise awareness of whatever subject but for us seem to only take away options. If you say your unit was taken away aka no more insuran...

Re: New to group (basic beginner questions)
I am new as well, on a tear posting away as we get ready for our lil one's first bday! Agree with other advice, I feel that we need to place more emphasis on pain management. It is one of the most challenging problems for docs. The FDA mandated pharma companies to create beter pain meds, strongly su...

Re: freezing cold
Check out the 'hot chili's" brand of thermal clothing. At a place like REI, EMS, Macy's maybe.
Point is they hug the body tight and you could sew a pocket or maybe elastic materials easily. If you can, the NFL has sporting equipment that will accomplish your goals.
Good Luck and Best.

Re: Nerve pain from thyroid medicine
So Strange. With the pain meds they can cause the thyroid to reject the pig hormones from traditional brands/generics. Usually we need the relief, so its simply monitoring levels. It is also strange that no formulatiom of the thyroid meds helped. One suggestion, will seem odd, get your AFP marker bl...

Philadelphia Area Docs for Adults?
Hello all. After about 12-15 years of uncertainty, needles, scans, putpatient procedures, you all have been there.. I can finally put a name to my conditions. It all now makes so much sense to the exact detail! However, I am mainly working with my primary- who doesn't humiliate me with monthly urine...

Re: TENS unit???

I hope you have a good device or ask for one from all those quacks... ( with all respect- have a few docs in the family who' get it' ). Best r...

Re: TENS unit???
E- hi. I have used a tense- EMPI unit, with various 'shock' options like back, hand, shoulder. Sometimes i only use one line w 2 oval 1.5 inch pads at night. For me placing them just off extreme low center spine if used on the low back or under my shoulder and on the side of the neck where the nerve...

Re: Nerve pain from thyroid medicine
