Re: Anyone NOT need surgery?

Ok this is just getting ridiculous now. If you honestly didn't think I meant it the way you took it, then why not give me the benefit of the doubt? Especially since it is impossible to read emotion and inflection through the computer. I am trying to keep an open mind but am still having trouble seei...

That's not a choice, it is an unfortunate fact of life for some. For quite a long time, it...

Re: New Here.... 11 week old with Brachia Plexus Palsy

Hi, I am new here as well. I have a 3 month old daughter with Erb's Palsy. I don't really have any answers for you since I am new at this, but I wanted to tell you that I am so sorry this happened to your baby. I know how emotional it can be. If you ever need to talk, feel free to message me!!

Anyone NOT need surgery?

I have noticed that an awful lot of you have either had surgery or your children have had surgery. I am wondering if is anyone out there who has not? The reason I ask is because since our daughter's injury seems to be mild, we are not really going to consider surgery for her. We are going to see the...

Anybody in the Cleveland, OH area?

I am just curious if there are any moms in the Cleveland area who get together for play dates? I am a new mommy of a beautiful baby girl with LOBPI and would love to meet new people. I work weekends, so it gets very lonely during the week :)

Re: New to the site!

Thank you both so much for the replies. It makes me feel so much better to know that there are other mommies out there dealing with similar situations. Lydia was seen by a Neurologist in the NICU and also a follow-up appt when she was 5 weeks old. Both times the Dr gave us an excellent prognosis - &...

New to the site!

Hi everyone, my name is Monica and this is my first time to the site. My first baby, Lydia, was born on July 31- she is 10 weeks old. She was born 2 weeks early and was 9lbs, 7 oz. She has Erb's Palsy in her left arm from a traumatic delivery. It has been labeled as mild so far. We take her to PT 1-...
