Re: Leaving for Boston
A day late, but best of luck to you- she's in excellent hands! I have great pics of my sons before and right after his osteotomy, I'm going to update with some new ones 6 months later, I'd be happy to send them to you if you'd like so you can see the difference it makes. Good luck!

Re: Negligent Lawyer Question
<t>I was told it's harder to get a good settlement or verdict from a doctor with a smaller policy- first if they do decide to settle before trial, they're never going to offer the full policy, they'd rather take their chances at trial. Second, if there is a verdict at trial, the doctor is responsibl...

Re: Ella is home and doing great!
Krista, when TJ was in the spica he had a hard time getting onto the sofa too- we got him a bean bag chair, it didn't last long within 2 weeks he'd figured out how to climb most things.
I'm glad Ella is doing so well, they are amazing how they bounce back!

Re: Taping ???
<t>We tried taping for TJ when he was about 9 mos old, he did not do well with it then, it really irritated his skin, and we couldn't see the benefit in creating more pain for him.<br/> We tried again this past summer, thinking since he was older we could try again, we used different tapes but becau...

Re: VERY CONFUSED on where to go/ who to see
<r>Our son wasn't diagnosed until he was nearly 4 mos old, neither the OB or Pediatrician told us, just simply it would resolve itself by the time TJ was 6 mos old and he might need a little physical therapy at about a year old--- wow does that feel like a lifetime ago!<br/> A cousin I was visiting ...

Re: Good news/what comes next?
We went with 1 attorney first that did nothing for 6 mos, then we went to another attorney and 4 years later we've finally settled.
I can be a very long very slow process, I think I heard somewhere the average case takes 6 years, some longer, some less.
Either way, Good Luck!
