Re: anyone in Michigan????
<r>Hi Courtney,<br/> <br/> I emailed you privately, but not sure if I had the correct email address. We live in MI. My son Jeff lives in Millington and works in Grand Blanc. I have another son who lives in Madison Heights so we are real familiar with the Detroit area. Jeff was hurt in May 1993. He w...

Re: Surgery has any one had any success
<t>Maureen,<br/> <br/> My son was 22 when he had his accident. He had just became a journeyman electrician so doing electrical work was virtually impossible with one arm. One of the things I made him promise me when he was still in intensive care was that he would go back to school and get a differe...

Re: Need help
<t>Princess, do tell your mother to be careful. I did the range of motion twice a day on Jeff for 2 full years until I finally did damage to my arm. I had to stop doing it and was taking Celebrex. Even though his arm was very fragile and thin doing those exercises was very taxing on my left arm. </t>

Re: PLEASE READ
<t>Princess, Sounds like you have about the same amount of damage my son has. He has 4 nerves totally avulsed and only one to work with. He got the same 20% chance from the elbow down. It has been 10 years this May since his accident. He was 22 at the time. In June 2001 he had the intercosal nerve g...

Re: Awesome Toy for BPI
Rich, Thank you for this site. Jeff's younger brother kayaks and snowboards and has wanted Jeff to try both. This would be perfect. To make matters even better they will be demonstrated at a boat show within 50 miles of me on Feb. 23-26. Thanks again Pam

Re: Dole BPI joke on TV - made my mouth drop!
<t>Jenny,<br/> <br/> Jeff hides his injury very well by always having his left arm in his pocket so I am guessing the rude BK clerk just thought he was being rude. Him and I both have big mouths so I am actually surprised that we didn't either one say something, but I am almost positive she didn't n...

Re: Dole BPI joke on TV - made my mouth drop!
<t>This isn't about the Dole ad although I find it appaling but it does have to do with how insensitive people can be.<br/> <br/> My grown son and I who is TBP were out shopping for his Christmas gifts, which is difficult for him to do alone. I was helping him pick out things for his niece and nephe...

Re: Aromatheraphy oils that are good for nerves!!
<t>Hi, I make baskets and sell them at craft shows so I meet lots of different people all over my state and sometimes other states. Last year I met a young woman named Laurie who sold aroma therapy lotions. It was the second day of a big show and I had a headache. I asked her what she had for a stre...

Re: Horners Syndrome
<t>After reading the link to the Horners Syndrome I agree his problem might very well be due to the eye injury itself. They wouldn't have been able to detect it right away as the eye was the size of a softball the night of the accident and then was operated on a couple of days later, but seems they ...
