So, I wanted to take a minute to say HI to everyone once again from me and Cole Michael. So many new names..... makes me sad, but happy you've foun...

Re: Looking 4 help

<t>Hi, <br/> <br/> I actually just responded to your other post... I wanted to add that my son was not followed up by military doctors. The EI on post was civilian and so was the ortho specialist he would see periodically at the military hospital. They bring him in once a month to see children on po...

Re: Osteotomy.....again

<t>Francine those were wonderful questions I wish I had thought of prior to surgery. Fortunately, we were really blessed and the doctor was right on with his prediction for Cole. He would only lose a little internal rotation, but gain lots of external rotation. And once again Francine is right... I'...

Re: Humeral Osteotomy??

<t>Francine and Lana,<br/> <br/> The little boy just to the left and up one row (with the green cast), was a humeral osteotomy. The picture was taken in the hospital. If you look closely, you can see the bandage over the incision, just below his left shoulder. The doctor did the "Mod Quad" (he didn'...

Re: Idaho - non bpi

Actually I am from Idaho but haven't lived there for a very long time. I just came back from a visit this summer... I do have family there, if you have no other takers that actually live there, let me know. I'll be happy to ask them to send one.

Re: Shocked and Furious

<t>Rachel, you did the right thing. I'm a Director at a large center and I actually orientate new employees on how to manuever and handle a child. And picking up or pulling by one arm is never allowed. I was actually doing this before Cole was born and I knew nothing about BPI's at that time. We are...
