Thanks Kath and Carolyn! It truly is woderful what they are able to do now to help our children. I wish it was available when you were both children but I am so grateful for the wisdom and exprience that you both bring to this group. Ok, I am still in Philladelphia staying at the wonderful Roald McDonald house on Erie but I just had to let you all know that Amaya's cast came of on Monday and she has 85 to 90 degrees external rotation (she had 20 degrees before surgery). It really depends on the degree of damage that was done (if the nerves were stretched, ripped or completely torn out). You have to get an EMG and I strongly urge you to do that soon. You she see a Nuerologist (preferably one that speicilizes in BPI). There is a time limit when working with nerves an...

Wow, If I don't know anything else about workers comp, I do know that it can take a long time. This worries me because I want you to recieve the best care as soon as possible. I wish I knew the right thing to tell you to do... Just keep fighting and please take good care of yourself.

Dear Jmar, I am so sorry to hear about your injury. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I do want to make sure that you understand that if you suffered nerve damage that you need to seek a Neurologist (preferable a BPI specialist) as soon as possible.
