Re: Cyclic Vomiting

<t>My son who is now 11 had trouble with vomiting for 4 years. It was awful and really controlled his life (much more than the bpi!). Because of the frequent vomiting other problems occurred. Finally we found help, after many trips to pediatric gi docs, from a pediatric GI doc who diagnosed ruminati...

Re: baseball gloves

<t>My son is 10 and robpi. He has been playing ball since he was 4. It was very frustrating at first for him also. The approach we used for him at t-ball level was to catch the ball with the left hand, transfer the ball to the right hand, drop the glove, transfer the ball back to the left hand and t...

Re: 504 plan and the school system

<t>My son is 9 and this is the first year we put a 504 plan into affect. We had a note from his primary physician, not even the brachial plexus people, stating what type of things he would need. I have a good relationship with him and so I was able to ask him for the note. We then talked with the te...

Hi,

I live in Roseville, MN and have a 9 year old boy with an injured right arm. He has had 2 surgeries in Rochester. Gillette wasn't available when he was a baby. We are always willing to talk via email or phone.

Re: mayo clinic article on BPI

I agree with RichMA. I read the article and felt the same way. You put into words exactly what I was thinking. Thank you.
We have been seen at the Mayo clinic for 9 years and have been quite happy with the surgeries and the care.

<t>My son is 9 years old and in 4th grade. He is also right hand dominant and robpi. John writes left handed. We did work with the left hand quite a bit to get him comfortable writing with the left hand.<br/> Now is penmanship is very good with the left hand. If he trys to use the injured hand for w...

<r>Hi Rivers, <br/> My son has had 2 surgeries at the Mayo Clinic. They were, however, both with doctors whom are no longer there.<br/> John is 9 now and had surgery at 3 and 5 years old. Re: Non BPI-Boy scouts, cub scouts

<t>My son is 9 and he desparately wanted to do scouts.
