Re: Update on Brianna -- Has this happened to anyone?
Thank you for your kind words and good thoughts! As always, we keep all the children in our thoughts and prayers. I'd like to think that miracles do happen ... a little sign from up above keeps us going!

Re: Therapy thru the School
<t>Hi Danielle. My daughter Brianna qualified through the school district to have an OT start with her in preschool. During the evaluation process, they assessed her strengths and weaknesses. They supplied special scissors and adaptive devices as needed. She is now in 2nd grade and through the schoo...

<t>I know that I have been out of the loop again. Too much on our plates I guess, not enough time to sit and relax. Anyway, has this happened to anyone else? Brianna, 7, has Erb's & Klumpke's. Never had any regeneration through the bicep. Did everything with her shoulder and back muscles. Never ...

Re: Daughter has Erbs & Klumpkes Palsy ... question re surgery
<t>Hi Alison. I can't believe the response from people so near! We really thought we were alone! I am so excited to contact and meet families closeby who can understand this injury and what it's like to go through the things that we do! It's too late tonight, but I will definitely be calling you wit...

Daughter has Erbs & Klumpkes Palsy ... question re surgery
<t>My daughter sustained a severe injury at birth leaving her right arm with Erbs & Klumpkes. She had no regeneration through the biceps, cannot flex at the elbow, but has very little ability to open her fingers. She is now 7 and she uses her hand strictly as a helper and can bear a minimal amou...

Re: Still desperate after all these months...legal advice, please.
<t>Sorry to hear you lost your lawsuit. Your question regarding strains on the marriage and being burned out hit a nerve. My husband and I were trying to be strong for each other, so we didn't talk about our "real" anger, sadness, etc. It wasn't long before we were two miserable people and our marri...

Re: Has anyone won a Brachial Plexus Injury case?
We live in Pennsylvania. My daughter sustained a severe injury at birth. We waited almost a year before we sought legal action (hoping it would get better I guess). Anyway, it took approx. 4 years, but we settled right before it went to Court. Hope this helps.
