Does anyone know how to go about looking for a shoulder and elbow/arm brace? Does this have to be specially made or can I get one at a surgical supply store? If you need to get it specially made, where do I start?

Re: Aquatherapy
Is there a difference as far as the pool is concerned? I realize cost can be an issue as far as insurance coverage, travel to and from therapy vs. up front cost for your own heated pool and maintenance, but as far as the pool, is there a difference between the two?

Waltham MA Children's Hospital....WOW....
<t>We just came back from seeing Dr. Waters after Michael's 1 year post-op. Dr. Waters is thrilled with Michael. He said Michael's shoulder feels fantastic. His range of motion is great. We met Claire his therapist there at Waltham and she was wonderful. She gave me excersizes and stretches focusing...

Re: POLY CYSTIC OVARIES??? HERNIA??
<t>From what I have read about PCOS and from my own issues with it is that you can have PCO or PCOS. You can have Poly Cystic Ovaries yet not have the syndrome. I received this information from an edocrinologist that I saw a few years ago just for this reason. I don't remember what seperates the two...

Re: How Would You Respond
<t>Sorry Anon. So let me understand this better. Your daughter didn't complain at all, all weekend long, no coughing or congestion or ear pain. It just suddenly appeared out of no where at school on Monday? If you feel you must do something, put it in writting asking for the teacher to please let yo...

Re: Leaving for Boston
Sounds great! In your care notes it says not to stick anything down the cast to relieve an itch and to use a cool blow dryer instead. It worked great for Michael when he did itch. Good luck. Talk to you soon.

Hi Dawn,
Glad to hear everything went well and you guys made it home before all the snow came. Does her cast look like Michael's? What color did she pick? She sounds like she will bounce back fast. Congratulations!!

Re: Rescheduled MRI and Dr Waters
<t>That's a good idea. Stinks that you have to put a hold on it, but it's the safest thing to do. How much snow are you looking at? We are looking at at least 12-15 inches starting at noon. Thank god it's not going to cancel my class for Saturday morning at the college. At least I hope not. I am rea...
