Re: Triangle Tilt Surgery...getting shirts on after surgery
<t>my daughter is 8 and just had the Triangle Tilt done last week. With the new SARO brace he is using, we did not have to do much modification to her shirts. I bought 2-3 sizes larger for tank tops(the stretchy ones), and only needed to cut down the seam about 3" or so.<br/> Also, I found if you ca...

Re: Altering clothes for Triangle Tilt
My daughter, Peyton was 5 years old at the time of her triangle tilt. We didn't know what to expect before surgery, so we just used bigger shirts, cut the seam up from the waist, then tied the ends in a knot while we were down there. When we got home, we used velcro to hold the shirt together.

Re: Severity of Injury an Obstacle?
<r>Amy - My daughter Peyton started riding on the smallest bike available with training wheels and had balance issues as well as trouble with steering. We ended up adjusting her training wheels so that the one was higher then the other one to compensate for it. As she got better on the bike, we slow...

Re: Residence Inn-Houston
We had really good luck at the Hampton Inn & Suites (on Old Spanish Trail at Medical Center) and they treated us very well. Their shuttle service took us to all our appointments, hospital, and even Target. They have good prices, continental breakfast, and a Luby's (??) next door.
