Re: Anyone with Lower Back Problems?

<t>Hi there. Welcome from one newbie to another. I have bad back problems from my skull on down. I've had all the xrays and scans and gotten the usual dx's ( herniated discs, degenerated discs, arthritis, sprains, strains, sciatica, breasts too large, weigh too much, ect.) Traction helped for a shor...

Re: Filing for SSD / SSI Question from UBPN Please help

<r>I have been told by a rehab counselor that SS required 2 limbs to be affected before you would be qualified for disability. Since he was also my brother, I trust his word. <E>:)</E>. I was approved on my first try about 5 years ago, Although I have Erbs since birth and multiple other systematic i...

Re: Exercise equipment

<t>I was actually considering both of the things yall suggested. I was thinking about one of those Gazelle things that is an elliptical machine that puts no stress on the joints. I have also been trying to find info on Tai Chi. I'm looking for exercise for cardio and to help my diabetes that I can d...

Re: Getting dissability ?

Social security disability is not based on financial need. It is based solely on whether or not you can work. A law suit settlement should not effect if you qualify or not. Keep fighting and get a social security disability lawyer if you have to. Good luck.

Re: Getting dissability ?

<t>You don't have to be bi-polar to be disabled under depression. The Erb's caused alot of self esteem issues and abuse issues from child hood. I also have extreme anxiety and panic attacks. Without going into too much detail or making myself sound pathetic, I honestly can't go out into the average ...

back problems?

I've had alot of back problems for most of my life like herniated discs, degenerated discs, and sciatica. I've noticed others have posted about spinal problems numbing ect. I was wondering if the Erb's palsy causes any of this or if its just a coincidence.

Thanks,
Sunny

Re: What kind of Dr to see

<t>Thanks everyone for the welcome and the info. There is a Dr on the list that looks promising. I intend to contact his office and see what we can arrange. I'm also an insulin dependant diabetic and having the use of only one hand makes injecting difficult and cuts the areas I can inject in half be...
