Re: ROLL CALL ( LURKERS TOO!!!!!!! )

I'm Laurie and I live in Arizona. Got my BPI from wrong positioning during a routine surgery in 2003. LOVE meeting other BPI people. Waiting for the day when we have a big bash in the USA like they do in the UK :)

Re: Why Don't Doctors

<t>Bellis - I am SO similar to you! I keep using my arm because it's my dominant arm and my natural tendancy is to use it all the time. Adding more drama to the issue: I'm a professional classical flutist (or should I say X-professional classical flutist) and I've been SO depressed over not being ab...

Re: What pain meds are you taking?

Yes you are correct. Zanaflex is for the muscle spasms caused by damaged nerves? I've been on these darn drugs for so long, I myself can't even remember why anymore :)

Re: ROLL CALL ( LURKERS TOO!!!!!!! )

I'm Laurie and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I've had my BPI for two years and it sucks because it's my dominant arm and hand that are screwed up. I got my injury from the pack of orangutans who placed me wrong on the operating table during a routine surgery.

Why Don't Doctors "Get it"?

<t>My neurologist has been in charge of my BPI injury for two years now. I have regained all of my motion but I am living in CONSTANT pain which limits my the motor function of my left arm. But he just looks at me and thinks I'm just fine. Why don't neurologists and other specialists "get it" with o...

Re: Cymbalta

Watch the Lyrica. It can cause very serious constipation. I had to switch back to Neurontin. Too Bad too - the lyrica lasts longer for pain.
