I'm Laurie and I live in Arizona. Got my BPI from wrong positioning during a routine surgery in 2003. LOVE meeting other BPI people. Waiting for the day when we have a big bash in the USA like they do in the UK

Re: What pain meds are you taking?
Yes you are correct. Zanaflex is for the muscle spasms caused by damaged nerves? I've been on these darn drugs for so long, I myself can't even remember why anymore

Re: ROLL CALL ( LURKERS TOO!!!!!!! )
I'm Laurie and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I've had my BPI for two years and it sucks because it's my dominant arm and hand that are screwed up. I got my injury from the pack of orangutans who placed me wrong on the operating table during a routine surgery.

Why Don't Doctors "Get it"?
<t>My neurologist has been in charge of my BPI injury for two years now. I have regained all of my motion but I am living in CONSTANT pain which limits my the motor function of my left arm. Re: Cymbalta
Watch the Lyrica. It can cause very serious constipation. I had to switch back to Neurontin. Too Bad too - the lyrica lasts longer for pain.
