Re: 2nd child after bpi
<t>Congrats! I too just posted on this topic a few weeks ago. We are pregnant with our 2nd child first with ROBPI. I am extremely scared and nervous but am arming myself with knowledge this time. My NEW OB and I have talked about many options we can take and he said ultimately the decision is up to ...

Re: Video story of recovery of LOPI
<t>This is so great to hear. My little girl is having a very similar story. She did not have any arm movement until about 3 1/2 mos. and we actually got it on tape too!! We were seeing the specialist quite frequently because she was right on the line for surgery. However she keeps on improving!! At ...

Re: Can you help me?
<t>I have the perfect picture of Ava for her 1 year pictures. I was trying to get her attention with my cell phone, I was kind of dangling it in front of her. Anyway when the pictures came back she has both hands straight in front of her reaching up. When I looked at the pics at the photographers, I...

Scared
<t>It's that time of year again...I need to make an appt. to have my annual exam. I have not seen a doctor since the birth of my daughter ROBPI in March of '05. There is no way I am going back to my doctor and really am scared to trust anyone. Every time I think about going in I feel as if I am goin...

Re: New Roll Call
Hi I am Tara, mom to Ava 13 mos ROBPI and wife to Andy. So far we are surgery free as Ava continues to improve. She is a very determined little girl and am convinced her little (I mean big) attitude has played a part in her recovery! We live in beautiful lakes country in MN.

Re: Physical Therepy
<t>My daughters only has formal therapy every 4-6 weeks, she is 13 months. Mainly due to not having a qualified PT in our area. At the BPI clinic we travel to (about 4 hours away), the doctors and therapists give us suggestions of things to work with her at home. I too call it "play" therapy, in whi...

Re: nausia pain since birth of bp child?
<t>In reading your post it really got me wondering. I know now that my childbirthing experience was in no way normal. I had to go home with a cathedar for about a week and half after my child was born and it took me a while after that to not have "accidents". It now is time for my yearly check up an...

Re: fund raiser
<t>I didn't do this as a fund raiser but several people asked why i didn't...I got those silicone bracelets made up saying BPI AWARENESS and the other side had my daughters name on it. They cost us less than $1 a piece and you could sell them starting at $3 or donation (which people usually give mor...
