Re: Taping arm--is there a trick to getting tape off?
<t>We have been taping Trent's arm (6 months old ROBPI) for about a week. He has VERY sensative skin and there has been no problem getting it off. It stays on for 3 days and then off for 2 days. By the third day it is starting to come off on its own and we just pull it off. He has not had any proble...

splint and taping
<t>I was wondering if anyone has success with splitting and/or taping. Trent (5 months ROBPI) has regained most movement. From birth to 8 weeks of age he had only finger and wrist movement. He continues daily to increase his movements. Now his arm rests in neutral, which was not the case 5 months ago...

However, we are still here dealing with the whole BPI thing. Trent (ROBPI) now 5 month old has made some improvem...

Re: To all that stayed at Holiday Inn Philly
<t>I agree with what everyone said- get a car. It is not the best part of town, but you will be fine. I wouldn't say it looks worse than it is, b/c it is a pretty tough section. There are tons of people around and when you park at the hospital you don't have to pay and you never leave the building f...

Re: Kozin
<t>We saw Dr. Kozin and his team for the first time last week. (Monday, July 11th) It was the most wonderful experience we have had through this whole journey. Trent is 4 month old with ROBP. He has damage to C5 and C6. He gets more movement each day. He goes back on Sept. 9th for his next progress ...

I saw it too!! They never said it was BPI. From the looks of it- it probably was to some extent.

Re: Was anyone's child's arm *not* completely paralyzed at first?
<t>When Trent (4 months old with ROBPI)was born he had finger and wrist movement. That was all. His arm and sholder were competely limp. Begining at about 6 weeks of age until now there has been noticable progress. He can now lift his arm to 90 degrees against gravity- not fully extended, and can ge...
