Re: Question for Motorcycle folk (with rambling
<t>of thing I'm thinking about. But since bikes like the Hondamatic went out of style, the automatic bike is pretty rare, and only scooters use a CVT transmission for the moment. Would it be as simple as going to a custom bike builder and asking for a thumb brake and left-hand throttle? Or is forkin...

Question for Motorcycle folk (with rambling
<r>Hey guys, I'm still waiting for my insurance to sort itself out, which is holding up my surgery. ie. no money = no surgery. It's been 9 months post injury, and they will only pay for medical costs within the first 12 months. During this time they have been looking for any excuse not to pay, and c...

Re: crutches???
I got on okay in hospital using the one crutch. I had busted up my right knee and BPI'd my right arm, so I got around on my left leg and holding a crutch in my left hand. No big deal, yeah it kind of feels retarded hopping around like that, but it can be done.

Re: Medications Costs
<r>Similar to what Jamie said, when I was discharged from hospital the doctor gave me a script for Neurontin 600mg refills from the hospital pharmacy. He told me how expensive it is otherwise. I would've given all my money for something that worked, but for me Neurontin wasn't it. Keep in mind I was...

Re: Playing XBOX with one hand is possible
<r>yer, with one hand I can appreciate Xbox games that normally you'd play for 5 minutes and realize they're too easy/stupid <E>:)</E>... The technique you've described sounds weird, but I better give it a go just for Halo2. Although I haven't played a Playstation since 1996 or something, I'm sure y...

Re: Curious as to where u get the pain
Yeah that sounds very similar to mine Michael. I can relate to the weird feeling in your arm that's not pain, actually I look forward to it. It's like, hey, that's a change, this is relatively pleasurable by comparison. Then it stops just as I'm getting into it...

Theyre 12.5 mg tablets and I guess thats the Australian version of Bextra.<br/> <br/> I started taking a couple of them a day but they didnt seem to do anything for me, aside from rashing up my leg... But hey...

Re: For those people with BPI injuries on their dominant arm...
yeah I'm still pretty crap, I haven't really practised over the past 6 months. I'm doing IT at uni so it's all keyboards anyway. But taking notes while juggling a phone is no fun at all....
