The gift that keeps on giving
Today my precious Joshua turns ten years old. Today he hasn't gotten out if bed because he woke up nauseous and with a headache -the result of a traumatic brain injury he suffered last Wednesday. He missed his birthday party yesterday and still hasn't gotten up for his birthday today. All from a fal...

I have offered to pay for the cost of traveling to medical visits and yes I have urged people to see the finest brachial plexus surgeons in the world, Drs. Kozin, Waters, Gro...

Re: mod quad triangle tilt
You are unlikely to find many doctors being very outspoken about their true opinions of Dr. Nath and his surgeries because Dr. Nath has extremely deep pockets ($$$$$) and loves a good legal fight. The Texas courts have actuallly said this: http://caselaw.findlaw.com/tx-court-of-appeals/1605081.html ...

Re: Mod Quad Surgery
My daughter is 3yrs old now and needs the Mod Quad and the Triangle Tilt surgeries, I would love to get feedback from anyone who knows what to expect or if anyone knows what the long term results good and bad could be. Thank you! You may want to post this as a new question. Also, you should make it...

Re: Scapula Winging...Tendon Transfer?
How long has she been lifting her arm? The majority of winging in BPI comes from the child moving the scapula and humerus "as a unit" in order to obtain range. Getting them to rotate the ball in the socket is one of the hardest things. This because the muscles around the shoulder joint are...

Re: New here and feeling overwhelmed
Emma, I bumped up the thread "new to bpi... I think" for you. I strongly doubt the diagnosis of bpi that you were given, and my reply to that thread explains why. I have known of many such "late" diagnoses of bpi and not one of them was correct; it is not that uncommon for genera...
