Re: Therapist directory updated
I was wondering what the process for listing therapists was. Do they have to have certain qualifications? I live in Oklahoma and noticed there's not much info in this area. Kaci has a therapist that works with a few OBPI children, just wondering if she would qualify.

need info on 6 month post surgery follow-up
<t>My daughter goes to TCH the end of May for her 6 month post-primary follow-up. I was needing info on what to take (if anything) and most importantly some ideas on questions to ask the doctor. I have started a list of questions, but just want to be sure and not forget anything while we are face-to...

Nerve from leg or behind ear?
<t>I have read some of your posts and looked at pictures on various sites and I was wondering how they determine where they take the nerve from for the primary surgery. It seems to me that many of them are taken from the leg, but my daughter had primary and hers was taken from behind her ear. Just w...

Re: Nerve Transfer Surgery
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in November, but are planning to stay at the Holiday Inn in May. What problems did you have with this hotel. The Crown was nice, but too expensive for what it offered.

Kaci's progress
<t>After finding this site, I have become really aware of how involved all of you stay in your child's progress. I have noticed this week that Kaci has made tremendous progress since her surgery, I just hadn't noticed because I was too busy looking for complete healing of her arm. Kaci is bringing h...

new in Oklahoma
<t>My daughter is now almost 8 months old and I just found this sight. You guys are wonderful. I feel like I have found more information here than anywhere. My only concern is that I have not been informed enough to keep up with everything I should be doing. <br/> <br/> Kaci had surgery 11-25-03. Sh...

Re: SSI/DISABILITY
I am going through this right now, ask about a medical spend down for the medical expenses you pay monthly. In Oklahoma, they deduct them from your income. Just a thought, worth trying.

payments
<t>Wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to handle the many dr. bills that stack up after surgery. As of right now, I have payment arrangements with Kaci's PT, Dr. Nath, GHA, TCH, and Dr. Laurent. I think I still have one more bill coming from TCH. We have insurance, but it is terrible cove...
