Letter From Dr. Nath

<r>As most of you, I was freaking out that Dr. Nath was no longer at TCH. So, I decided to write him from his web site to see if I could get a response. I did! This is what he said:<br/> <br/> My new office is just a couple of blocks away from the <br/> hospital and I can be reached through this web...

Pain under arm

Alexyss had mod quad last July and she has stated that her arm is really hurting underneath. Which is normal. What does it mean when it all of a sudden starts to be very painful? Is she getting tighter? Besides ROM exercises, what else can be done?

Thanks,
Tracey

How to Get on Medicaid?

I have applied for medical assistance and they rejected us. They said we make to much money. But, after every pay day I feel like we are scrambling for money just to buy food! I live in Texas and was wondering how to work around the system?
Thanks!

Thak God!

<t>I just wanted to let everyone know that we have gotten back from Houston last week and no surgery is scheduled! Dr. Nath stated that Alexyss might need it when she turns 3. Which isn't to far away, but still. We have bought some time to play, start pre-k, and be a kid! I am so relieved! Thank you...

Re: Anterior Subluxation?

<t>Julie,<br/> Alexyss is anterior subluxated. I see from my own personnal perspective that she became dislocated really quickly. She has had dislocation surgery and so far so good. It has been almost 2 years since the surgery. She still has a slope though. I got told that posterior is worse than an...

Re: Is Dr. Shenaq also performing the Acromio surgery?

We had Dr. Shenaq do our first surgery in Houston. He was wonderful! He really took to my daughter. Dr. NAth and Dr. Shenaq are great surgeons. Whomever you get, don't worry. You are in the best of hands!

Re: IEP's and 504's

How do you apply for IEP;s and 504's? My daughter is fixing to start pre-k next year and then we start working on elementary. I have never heard of such a thing!
