I would LOVE to come..unfortunately I haven't been working. FINALLY landed 2 great interviews then my mom was injured in a 4-wheeler accident. So...we are trying to figure out what is going on with her. Looking like a pull at the nerve root of C7! I can't believe this is happening. I am thankful for...

Injured C7/ EMG testing
My mom was in a 4 wheeler accident 2 weeks ago on Sunday. She fractured her T 12 and T 11. We just found out two days ago she has a slightly compressed C7 which may be a stretched nerve. Does anyone know how long after a wreck you can have a EMG test done. The doctors here say 3 weeks. She's in majo...

Re: Surgery or Not? Help!!!
Hello...Surgery is a huge risk no matter what type of surgery it is. You need to really weight out your options first. I am 39 yr. old with a LOBPI. I had surgery in Houston TX in 2002 and it has really helped me out a lot. However, I know one gal who the surgery didn't help out at all. How bad is y...

Re: How did having surgery affect your ife?
I had surgery at the age of 30! I had the mod quad procedure done. I gained 40 % more range of motion. My arm was shrinking and paraylzing itself so for me it was the best thing I had ever done. I still have pain issues and probably always will from over use but it really was worth it for me. I thin...

Re: Arm/shoulder fatigue during band
<t>I used to play the trumpet as well. I just remember my neck always hurting afterwards becaue I always tended to lean to one side. All of my band photos I look as if I am in pain with a lean. I would imagine eventually you build up strength but the pain really doesn't ever go away. I was only in o...

Re: Great tool for gardening!!
<t>Hey there Rich!! <br/> <br/> My husband threw the box away unfortunately. However, it should be on the tool itself. I will look for you this weekend and see if I can't find it. If not I'll go back to the store and get it. <br/> <br/> That is a great idea. I was sore after using it but not nearly ...

<t>I just thought I would share this bit of information. I purchased a black & decker hand held cultivator for my garden and flower beds. This is an amazing tool!! I did my flower beds in half the time and a lot less bending over and a lot less time using rakes etc. This tool has definitely save...

Re: Gets worse with age?
<t>Chris ..welcome to the boards!! It would be great if you could make it to one of the camps. It is truly an amazing experience. <br/> <br/> I was a trumpet player in high school. I loved to play it and yes, I always played it a bit crooked. But I didn't care at all. <br/> <br/> The best thing you ...

Re: Need all your help
<t>Connie...no question is a bad question at all. I went to a doctor locally here where I live and he told me there wasn't anything I could do for my injury. Well, after I found UBPN I found out that it wasn't true at all. Please do not get discouraged. Sometimes it is a matter of just finding the r...
