Re: this may be taboo on here but........

I really wish it was legal for medical use in Iowa. I'd be the first in line at the "pharmacy".

Re: friends??

<t>Hi Daniel,I'm Scott in Iowa. My experience has been totally opposite. My friends have really been a huge source of support. I was injured almost 2 years ago and really don't know if I'd have made it this far without their support. I do get tired of them always asking if there's been any improveme...

Re: Social Security Disability

<t>Hi Scott in TX. Thanks for your input. I've basically given up hope for SSD. I'm pretty sure you have to prove that the disability prevented you from working for at least a year. I ran out of $$ before that so I had to get a job. I ended up not working for 11 1/2 months so I expect to get denied ...

Re: Article on future CURE for BPI and it's creator!

This is fascinating! I'd love to be first in line for the tests on people instead of rats. I imagine most of us would line up to let him give his theory a try.

Re: Social Security Disability

Thanks so much to all. I'm waiting for a callback from my lawyer and I'm feeling much more optimistic and informed than ever before. The wait for an appeal hearing is long but now I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your fingers crossed.

Re: clawed hands

<t>I also have the claw hand. I can hardly bend the knuckles where the fingers attach to the hand but can barely straighten the knuckles in mid finger. My thumb is pretty much stuck straight out so I can relate to the embarrassing episodes where it catches on things (or other persons). I just recent...

Re: Social Security Disability

<t>Kath, thanks a million. I'm already having pain in my functioning arm since I've returned to work (4 months ago). The good arm is basically in use all the time. I was fearing carpel tunnel or some other ailment that might leave me without any useable arm for at least some period of time while tha...

Re: Social Security Disability

<t>Thanks Kath. You've already given me more info than my lawyer. The initial denials by SSD did note that I had one functioning arm and that was the basis of the denial so this link does support that decision. I had hoped that chronic pain might be more of a factor but that does not appear to be th...

Social Security Disability

<t>The malpractice question got me thinking about my aggravation with the Social Security Disability beurocratic fiasco and I'm wondering if anyone out there has had similar experiences or has had any success. <br/> <br/> I was totally laid up for about 6 months recovering from multiple injuries and...
