secondary surgery experience to share (long)

<t>I've been gratefully lurking for the past 6-8 months, not contributing much, but asborbing A LOT as I struggled to make some important surgery decisions...and have baby #2 during the whole process. I'm in a good place now and thought I'd share some highlights of our surgery experience since I too...

Interesting Books

<t>Awhile back someone had recommended the "Out-of-Sync Child" as a good read. I have two more to add to the list that have SAVED MY SANITY. <br/> <br/> The first is "The Fussy Baby Book" by Dr. Sears, the second is "The Sensitive Child". If any of you have an overly "needy" child, "high maintenance...

Re: VBAC boards making me VERY anxious - need help.

<t>Boy Francine, I feel your frustration (I also feel that way when I read people posting about home deliveries as a good way to go if you've had a healthy pregnancy. Mine was a VERY healthy pregnancy and guess what..my baby would have DIED had I delivered her at home..but I digress.) <br/> <br/> It...

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you go about finding this type of specialist? It sounds fascinating and fabulous.

Re: Just Wondering....

<t>It is very hard, and it is a roller coaster. When I see my daughter struggle with certain movements my eyes well up. When I see her one side look so visibly different from her other side I feel a lump in my throat. I get through each day believing that I have been chosen to manage her injury as b...

<t>Congratulations! What great news...and your right, this time will be very different!!! I had my second baby this past July, 4 days after my 1st child's second birthday. Things went extremely well. Steri Strip Help Needed

Can anyone share any good tips and tricks for taking of the steri strips after surgery? We're having a tough time - our daughter makes it difficult to touch her near her scar (should make scar massage a fun ordeal)for more than a nano-second. Thanks.
